Just in time for the start of summer, McDonald’s USA is rolling out its first new McFlurry®flavor of the year – the Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry. The tasty frozen treat will be available starting May 25 for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide, according to an Atlanta news release.
Beginning May 25 for a limited time, McDonald's will start selling a Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry that mixes vanilla soft serve ice cream with chocolate-covered pretzel bits, topped with a caramel swirl. It's a "perfect combination of salty and sweet," the company said in a statement.
The chocolatey pretzel McFlurry combines McDonald's vanilla soft serve, chocolate-covered pretzel bits and a caramel swirl. Of course, the classic Oreo and M&M's McFlurries are still around for customers sticking with the original desserts.
Prices of the new McFlurry will vary depending on city and will be available in two sizes (regular and snack size). It's the second sweet item added to its menu in recent weeks. McDonald's started selling the glazed pull-apart donut in early May.
In other McDonald's news, on Monday, the fast-food giant announced it will sell its business in Russia after more than 30 years of operating in the country. It temporarily closed all its Russian restaurants in March amid Russia's invasion into Ukraine.
